The Greatest Inbox ever…

I was a bit hesitant to write my last blog cause it revealed my curvaceous side but after a sneak peek into my mail box, I think you can understand how I got this lovely shape. Oliver and I can just say thanks Oupa! It was a bountiful of treats. My eyes oozed and the saliva was driving up momentum in my glands. Oliver, usually reserved at these moments jumped out of his shell and smiled from cheek to cheek. Never have I seem him so happy. Unless of-course you are talking about the last time we got the same package – a month or more ago. Mammer (Original Neapolitaner) – tasty Austrian wafer chocolate. Then some “Heritage” Shortbread Finger biscuits, some “Haribo” gummy bear candy (real tasty stuff) and then my favorite and Oliver’s too:- Hungarian Sausage (salami to some of you) These were the treats that embraced our inbox. Have you had a list like that? Oh, by the way, one more thing. We got a postcard of coffee jugs. I think that was for mum. She is a coffee lover. So no one was left without! Thanks oupa and ouma.

So here is the list:

The Weigh in….

Yep folks, today was the way in and I must say i exceeded myself in leaps and bounds. “Why?”, you might ask. Well, it seems I’ve become a bit of a podgy. You see, my other half asked me to weigh Beethoven (our dog) to see how much he weighs in preparation for our flight. And as he was a slender 18 kg (podgy material as well) I came in at a hefty 72 kg. Do you think I could train for the middleweight crown now? The sweetheart that she is wasn’t impressed and said that I was overweight and had to immediately go on a diet or risk not making the flight weigh in. I see this a big obstacle as I’m not some kind of meat that you can throw in the baggage compartment…… But as all things go I better listen or else!

Anyway, for those that are paying attention “Oli” only came in at 38 kg which was considered mild in comparison to mine. Oh, how we wonder how we could become a fat nation. I wonder how much “the madam” in our house weighs? Ooooppppps …..its not good to ask a woman how much she weighs.

Cheers.
